Our Volunteer Based Community

Riptide Lacrosse is a volunteer organization and needs all families to play an active role in the club.  A strong volunteer base is necessary and rewarding – it provides a strong sense of community and enables us to achieve our objectives as a club while limiting our costs.

Note: Beginning in the Fall of 2020, the club will be formalizing the volunteer process for parents due to both the growth of our club and increasing need for volunteers combined with decreasing parent participation. When you register your player for Spring 2020, you will be asked to select one of the following volunteer positions:

  • Head Coach
  • Assistant Coach
  • Game Day Score/Time Keeper/Sideline Manager
  • Team Manager/Parent
  • Assist with Check-in at Evaluation
  • Goal Maintenance (Stringing/Moving Cages)
  • Field Set-up/Clean-up

A complete list of volunteer and staff roles along with their job descriptions can be found below.

If a time commitment is an issue for your family, there is an opt-out fee (per family) which can be paid at registration.
